In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Andrea DiPaolo. Andrea Di Paolo, Quartz & Canary is a jewelry company that was officially created in 2015. Completely enthralled by the jewelry business, she began to teach herself about all of the technical aspects that are involved in understanding the construction and beauty behind precious gems and metals begining at the age of 18 she started her journey at the winners jewelry counter and then moved to Zales corporation (peoples and mappins) where she received formal training. With over ten years of experience (at the time) in the jewelry business, Andrea understood that designing and creating customizable jewelry was her calling. In this episode jewelry, intuitiveness, spirituality, wellness, collaboration and community, manifestation and make shit happen energy.

Completely enthralled by the jewelry business, I began to teach myself about all of the technical aspects that are involved in understanding the construction and beauty behind precious gems and metals begining at the age of 18 I started my journey at the winners jewelry counter and I then moved to Zales corporation (peoples and mappins) where i received formal training. With over ten years of experience (at the time) in the jewelry business, I understood that designing and creating customizable jewelry was my calling. As my journey through life encountered a deeply spiritual crossroad, I began my quest on educating herself on the spiritual and metaphysical properties that gemstones have to offer. I started spiritual psychotherpay with Teresa Fraser at the age of 25.

As things started to connect divinely and with over five years of research and knowledge I combined my love for jewelry with my love of the healing arts! The company name was developed in 2012 when I had simply been created bridal pieces on a freelance basis

The name itself is representative of the company’s belief systems and principles they intend to offer to the masses. Andrea has approximately 10 years to date in the corporate field of business development and sales in hotels- hotels surprisingly (the job i had at the time) led me back down the gemstone path. The company was also started in the middle of my blooming hotel career. A passion for developing and growing my business accumen became a goal of mine and on average I would stay in a position for approximately 1-3 years before getting scouted to move elsewhere. Upon the major global shifts in 2020, I took intitiative to go full time into this business and grow the movement of what I do on a personal level and Quartz & Canary expotentially. I have a personal practice performing evoltion coaching and energy managment with different individuals throughout Ontario and Quebec. I look towards supporting the community on all levels, through Q&C and through my personal practices. The root of my thoughts and life mantras come from various life experiences steming back to childhood, specifcally the chanllenges my brother and father endured as I grew up. My formal education is in sociology and law. My most recent course was the science of wellness. I am a knowledge junky, i love being able to grow my own skillset and pay it forward to others.
